It is a broad-spectrum and systemic Herbicide
Its mode of action is inhibiting the enzyme 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD)
Low rate of application per hectare,making it ecologically safer.

Tembotrione 34.4% w/w sc is a post emergence herbicide recommended for use along with surfactant for control of broadleaf and grassy weeds in maize
Tembotrione 34.4% w/w sc formulation is recommended for use with surfactant @ 1000ml/ha

Tembotrione 34.4% w/w sc can be applied with knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzle at 3-5 leaf stage of weeds.
